These motorcycle-scooters have recently become the most popular electric motorcycles in Europe. They have been called "the Tesla of electric motorcycles". And have become the ideal means of transport for many people.

THE new TC MAX is the 3rd generation TC model and has been completely redesigned and redesigned with a more powerful and quieter mid-motor. Its performance has also been radically improved in terms of power, speed, range and torque.

Super Soco is not a newcomer to the electric two-wheeler market. It successfully debuted in Europe in 2013 and became the first urban electric motorcycle equivalent to 125CC.

Design
The Super Soco TC MAX is a café racer scooter designed to have a sharp, muscular look and be overall more dynamic than the TC and WANDERER.

She will fill you with happiness. The surprising driving and acceleration of the vehicle brings to your adventures smoothness and all the more pleasure.

It's a remarkable improvement over the model with a motor wheel that it replaces from all angles. It has a razor-sharp design and looks bulkier than the TC, and the next-gen electric scooter retains the mono-shock rear suspension but features split grab bars for added sportiness.

The overall character of the TC MAX is amplified by the light of the LED headlights which ensure visibility in all weather or light conditions thanks to the new generation LED components.

Designed in a cafe racer style, it gives the TC a more powerful, more modern and sporty appearance but just as vintage

This scooter is a collaborative project between companies like DUCATI, BOSCH, PANASONIC and other European companies which contribute not only to its impeccable and remarkable design but also to its rigidity and its durability and power.

 

Powertrain performance and specifications
The Super Soco TC MAX mounts a 72v 3900w mid motor that produces 5000W of peak power and 180Nm of torque.

The rider can choose from three different modes that alter the throttle response. In ride mode, which unlocks maximum performance, the top speed is 75 km/h. The third generation of the FOC controller provides instantaneous torque exceeding the acceleration of any equivalent ICE power.

The European version of the TC Max can reach 90 km/h but after 75 km/h the pickup is almost invisible. As this bike is made for the city, we decided to limit its speed to 85km/h but kept an almost proportional increase in torque up to its maximum speed.

Ergonomics

Stability is enhanced by the wide handlebar, which has been completely redesigned for a sporty riding position and provides an ergonomic and comfortable experience.

A new sporty saddle improves riding comfort with “triple density” padding. According to Vmoto Soco, this new model gives the motorcycle an aggressive appearance and makes it more stable, yet comfortable when riding.

So far, the TC series are the most vintage models in the Super Soco range.

The line is indeed that of a motorcycle, a bit “vintage”, a kind of well-dressed roadster. Everything is reminiscent of the bike: braking, efficient, line, attractive, handling, almost impeccable.

 

Features

REMOVABLE BATTERY
SUPER SOCO TC MAX is built with a 72V/45AH Bosh high energy density lithium battery, the same batteries used in Tesla cars.

Located in the dummy tank, the 3.2 kWh Bosh battery recharges between 4 and 5 hours on a standard socket. When fully charged, it offers up to 110 KM range in ECO mode and 70 KM at full speed.

Easy to extract from its housing, it will be easy to "refuel" at home or in the office.

Sophisticated algorithm dynamically calculates the State of Charge - SOC and displays it on the dashboard as the remaining driving distance available.

 

ENGINE
With TC Max V-Moto replaces the TC hub motor with a mid motor. The high speed of the motor is converted into instant torque through a toothed belt and its 5000W makes this torque quite durable maintaining a constant speed even on serious slopes.

This model targets a clientele of motorcyclists, concerned about the pleasures of riding and rides. The engine, if it is not a flash of war, develops 5 kW in peak, which gives it beautiful accelerations. It peaks fairly quickly, more than enough for busy city traffic.

 

CONTROLLER
The heart of the bike – the controller – is encased in a one-piece die-cast aluminum box for exceptional heat dissipation. It is mounted on the front of the bike for more efficient cooling although its oversized current ratings would keep it cool even on long climbs.

It is a field oriented controller - FOC that has a vector control algorithm that maintains efficiency in a wide range of speeds. This controller also dynamically takes into account torque changes based on road conditions.

Finally, it is equipped with a dedicated processor monitoring all electronic components ensuring a safe and efficient ride for you.

 

FRAME
The quality of the mechanical parts of the Super Soco TC MAX is no less impressive than the quality of the electrical components. The unique mechanical construction starts from the frame which is designed based on the split frame concept of a racing motorcycle.

This allows for both a sturdy and lightweight construction. The front end is robot welded carbon steel which is then electrophoretically painted. It only weighs 6 kg. The rear half of the frame is made of aluminum alloy welded by argon robot and subjected to T6 heat treatment at the strength of 240MPa.

This means that the bike is strong enough to support a load of up to 150 kg -330lb.

 

SUSPENSION & COMFORT
Along with its impressive stiffness, Super Soco TC Max also comes with exceptional suspension comfort. This bike is supported by 700mm long and 35mm wide inverted front shocks. With a distance of 200 mm, strong resistance to twisting and an aggressive angle,

It provides a comfortable ride even on rough terrain. The hydraulic and adjustable rear monoshock adds to the incredible comfort of Super Soco TC Max.

BRAKES AND SAFETY DEVICES
The Super Soco TC Max is equipped with a massive hydraulic twin-piston front disc brake with oversized floating calipers. The Super SOCO TC Max charges premium high quality Brembo hydraulic brakes and a combined braking system – CBS.

CBS makes it possible to combine the rear brake with the front brake. In fact, when you brake from the rear, the front brake is automatically activated in order to better balance the action and avoid unbalanced manual braking in the event of an emergency.

Soft regenerative braking is always applied before mechanical braking, thus acting as an electrical anti block system - EABS.

The battery's BMS algorithm also ensures that the maximum amount of converted electrical energy is recovered by the battery.

 

LIGHTS
The headlight is incorporated into an elegant retro-style housing. Six LED modules are used in combination for high/high beam and low beam. These provide brighter and more efficient illumination than the equivalent capabilities of a halogen headlight.

Over 8000 lumens are concentrated in a 35 degree beam in high beam mode.

Thirty independent LEDs support wide angle daylight. The rear running brake and LED turn signal lights are designed in a classic style that matches the beauty of the retro motorcycle shape.

The front and rear LED turn signals are 40cm apart which makes this bike compliant as a motorcycle.

 

DISPLAY, GAUGES, SWITCHES
A combined analog/digital display is included in a retro-style dashboard. It displays current speed and error codes, total mileage, controller temperature, real-time output current, battery charge status, distance per charge, remaining distance, ambient temperature and the current time.

All this data can be displayed via a smartphone application when it becomes available at the end of the year.

Three electronic switches, a high/low beam switch and an engine stop switch are ergonomically positioned on the right side of the handle bar.

 

SECURITY
The Super Soco TC Max has a keyless start that only works with the proximity of its remote control. All you have to do is press the central power button under the handlebars to turn it on

It has mechanical and electronic theft protection devices.

It is equipped with a steering wheel lock that locks the handlebars in one position. Apart from that, it has an electronic keyless start system which makes it almost impossible to start the bike if you don't have the remote ignition activation button.

The motor locks automatically if the remote control is not present nearby. The TC MAX is equipped with a network enable GPS system which communicates with the smart phone app and The motorcycle can be located anywhere in the world. The application for North America is under development.
